Thank you for choosing Lotara, your personal wellness companion. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Lotara mobile application and related services provided by Lotara Inc.
By downloading, accessing, or using Lotara, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree to these Terms, please don't use our App.
Lotara is a wellness journaling application designed to help you track your daily wellness journey through journaling, build healthy habits with personalized reminders, monitor your progress with beautiful analytics, access meditation and mindfulness content, and integrate with health data from Apple HealthKit when you choose to do so.
To use Lotara, you must be at least 13 years old. By using Lotara, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
Lotara may not be available in all countries or regions. You must comply with all applicable local laws and regulations.
When you create an account with Lotara, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity on your account.
Choose a strong, unique password and keep it confidential. Never share your login credentials with others, and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
When you create journal entries, habits, or other content in Lotara, you retain full ownership of that content. You grant us a limited license to store and process your content to provide our Services and create aggregated, anonymized analytics.
Your content must not violate any laws or regulations, infringe on others' intellectual property rights, or contain harmful, threatening, or offensive material.

New users may be eligible for a 3-day free trial of Premium features as displayed at signup. If you don't cancel during the trial, you'll be automatically charged for the subscription. You can cancel anytime during the trial to avoid charges. Free trials are limited to one per user account.
Important: All subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You will be charged through your App Store account (Apple App Store). Taxes may apply based on your location. We may change subscription prices with 30 days advance notice.
To cancel your subscription, use your App Store account settings (not the Lotara app). Cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain premium access until then.
All refund requests must be made through your App Store (Apple), as we cannot process refunds directly. Refunds are subject to App Store policies. For technical issues, contact our support team before requesting refunds.
IMPORTANT: Lotara is for wellness and personal development purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please contact emergency services immediately.
Lotara's wellness insights and analytics are generated by algorithms and should not be interpreted as clinical assessments or substitutes for professional medical advice.
HealthKit integration is completely optional. You control what health data you share with us, and we only access data you specifically authorize.
Your privacy is fundamental to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Lotara, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

Lotara and all related trademarks, logos, and content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without permission. All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved by Lotara Inc.
You agree not to:
We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may temporarily suspend services for scheduled maintenance and may modify, add, or remove features at our discretion. Material changes will be announced in-app or via email.
You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to Lotara ends immediately, and we may delete your account data according to our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through informal resolution or binding arbitration as mutually agreed upon.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
